Christmas, the coming of Christ is a Joyous message vs frightful news for all of us who have consciousness. When the final advent approaches, we know judgment will come first. On this 4th day of advent, am reminded of what is coming ahead. It challenges me to focus on what is my priority.

Is it toys and presents? Is it only fun and laughter? What is the Lord speaking to me today with regards to my waiting days. Should my waiting be with anxiousness or with excitement?

Either way won’t change anything but truth brings perspective. The truth is God chose to come into this messy world to judge evil. In His judgement , He comes to sanctify us embraced with His grace and love for us all. In this special season He wants us to know the truth about what is to happen during the last advent. He wants us to know the reason WHY He has to do what He will be doing. The judgement has to come so that evil will be placed to where it belongs. It is not because He is a cruel God but rather He is most loveable. He knows if evil continue to exist, we wont be able to live in perfect peace. He has to do all this because of His love for mankind and He wants to keep to His promise of that eternal life that we read in His Word. A life without pain and filled with love.

Therefore, as we experience advent year by year, let us not forget what is to expect at the last advent. Should this be your last advent, how would you approach it today?
