Advent, Day 6

Today, I tasted my 1st FruitCare for the year. Reminded me of the many Covid-19 Patients who lost taste buds. Senses are given to us for a reason so that we can love others and love ourselves by satisfying and edifying one another.

The expression of love comes in many forms and often we use our senses to deliver that expression. We also use our senses to deliver ugly sinful expressions. Senses are God’s gift to us. It is meant to LOVE and not hate or do evil to one another and ourselves.

It is a powerful tool to be blessed!

5 God-Given Senses

Should any of our senses be gone, we will feel the loss because it is a significant contribution to the way we live. My prayer today, Lord teach me to do good with your God-given senses. We do not need to work hard for this, it is given. The reason we often lose sight of using our senses well is simply that we forgot to have an attitude of Gratitude to the One who Gave.

In this season of waiting, let us give thanks to God for our senses. Let us bless those who have lost it due to unforeseen circumstances. God will grant them the strength to continue to trust in Him. Let us take good care of our senses and use them to love others and love ourselves.
