It’s my birthday—24/4/2025, and I’m officially 47 and thriving!

With the support of Coach Ethan and an amazing band of brothers and sisters, I’ve lost 10kg and counting!

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every step.

Caught off guard, but all heart!

On 17th April, just before I left for my Easter weekend in Melaka, Hilda dropped by the office with my very first surprise birthday cake. Totally unexpected and incredibly heartwarming — thank you for making my day so special!

No big plans, just being home — and being remembered. Easter, 20 April.

There was no itinerary. No plans, no pressure. Just waking up in Melaka, knowing I was home.

The day moved slowly — the good kind of slow. The kind of comfort that wraps around you without needing to say a word.

And then, just when I thought the day had given me everything I needed, it gave me more.

A surprise cake. For me.

No one said much, just smiles and gentle teasing as the candles were lit. It wasn’t about the cake. It was about being thought of. About being seen.

That small moment — that quiet kindness — said everything.

And honestly? That’s what I’ll remember most.

A Celebration to Remember: Hari Raya, Q1 Birthdays & a Whole Lot of Joy at SM Health Care

Some celebrations just hit differently — and this one truly did.

We came together to celebrate two meaningful occasions at SM Health Care: Hari Raya and the birthdays of our January to April babies. The office was filled with colour, laughter, and that unmistakable festive energy you can only get when people genuinely enjoy being around each other.

The highlight reel was long — and it started with a beautiful lunch shared around one big table. Plates were piled high with delicious dishes, and every bite came with stories, laughter, and the kind of connection that doesn’t happen every day. You could feel the warmth in the room, not just from the food, but from the people.

After lunch, we kept the good vibes going with cake cutting for our birthday celebrants. It was full of smiles, cheerful wishes, and just the right amount of sugar to keep the celebration going.

Then came a fun twist — a TikTok Velocity session that had everyone up and moving. Whether it was perfectly in sync or hilariously off-beat, it was all about having fun together, and that’s exactly what we did.

To top it all off, I had a surprise visit from Jacky and Sharon. They dropped by with baked homemade chicken, which added even more joy (and flavour!) to the celebration. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the whole day feel even more special.

To everyone who helped bring this celebration to life — thank you. For the food, the fun, the surprises, and most of all, the togetherness. It wasn’t just a celebration — it was a reminder of how lucky we are to have this team.

Here’s to more shared memories, more birthdays, and more reasons to come together.

Tonight, God reminded me once again how deeply blessed we are.

Flora, Francis, and Kelwin surprised us with a beautiful birthday dinner — not just a meal, but a true offering of love. Their hearts overflow with grace, and the way they pour that love into Paulus and me is nothing short of divine.

In them, we see God’s hands at work — always ready to serve, always ready to go the extra mile. Their kindness humbles us and reminds us of the quiet power of faith in action.

Thank You, Lord, for surrounding us with a family whose love reflects Yours so clearly.

Closing the night with a full heart and a soul overflowing with gratitude.

From a lovingly prepared lunch, to unexpected visits that turned into precious moments, and a surprise birthday dinner that touched my spirit — today was wrapped in love from start to finish.

The countless wishes, heartfelt prayers, and kind words I received throughout the day reminded me just how deeply blessed I am. None of it goes unnoticed. I see God’s hand in every detail, every face, every moment.

Thank You, Lord, for surrounding me with people who reflect Your love so purely.

The celebration continues! What a joy to be surrounded by this incredible family who made this night so warm and special. From laughter to love, and this delicious Oreo Baskin Robbins surprise—my fifth birthday cake!

A Fruitful Saturday: Celebrating Life and Friendship ~ 26 April 2025

What a truly blessed Saturday it has been!

This weekend was filled with joy, love, and so much gratitude. I got to celebrate another birthday lunch and dinner surrounded by wonderful family and friends, and was even surprised with yet another birthday cake — my sixth one this year!

After a meaningful lunch celebration, we ended the day with an evening hike — the perfect way to breathe in fresh air, take in the beauty of nature, and spend time with people who inspire and uplift. The cooling breeze, the scenic views, and the laughter along the trail made it a beautiful close to an already amazing day.

Later at dinner, the surprises continued with a vibrant pink ice-cream cake that brought even more joy (and a sweet chill!) to the celebration. Every moment, every smile, and every thoughtful gesture reminded me just how richly blessed I am.

Reflecting on today, my heart is full. Birthdays aren’t just about growing older; they’re about counting blessings, cherishing friendships, and making beautiful memories.
