Timeline of a Move of God: 1900, 1936, 1973, 2023, 2025
17/9/2025 ~ Last night was amazing — the presence of God was tangible.
Ps. Rachel shared about the revival fires from Bario to Sibu and how God orchestrated these dates:
1900 – Wong Nai Siong led 1,118 Foochow believers escaping persecution from Fujian, landing at Sungai Merah, Sibu.
20 Sept 1936 – evangelist Dr. John Sung stepped foot in Sibu. Revival broke out at the Methodist Church.
4 Oct 1973, 4 PM – in Bario, 12 Kelabit students prayed, repented, and the Lord poured out His Spirit. This became the birthplace of the Bario Revival.
2023 – 50th Anniversary of the Bario Revival.
17 Sept 2025 – Sibu Tribal Gathering Day 1 (a God-appointed date, not man-planned).
20 Sept 2025 – Marks the 89th year of John Sung’s revival (1936–2025).
Truly, “My covenant I will not break” (Psalm 89:34).
From Orang Ulu to Dayak — a fresh new wind of the Holy Spirit. God is raising evangelists again.

Day 2 @ Tribal Gathering ~ 18/9/2025
I haven’t quite heard from the Lord yet, but what stands out so strongly is the unity and oneness I see among the committee. There’s such a beautiful spirit of serving, everyone just steps in, worships, and works together. If Ps. Rachel Bulan hadn’t introduced Ps. Sabrina and herself as co-founders of this movement, it would be almost impossible to tell who is the “person-in-charge.” It’s like a living picture of the body of Christ every part serving the other in love and humility.

1. Unity Reflects God’s Heart
Seeing the committee serve seamlessly without hierarchy is a picture of how the Church is meant to operate. Paul describes the body of Christ as “many parts, but one body” (1 Cor. 12). When no one is competing for position, Christ Himself becomes the focus.
2. Servanthood Is True Leadership
The fact that I couldn’t tell who the leader was until introductions were made shows servant leadership in action. Jesus said, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matt. 20:26). Leadership in the Kingdom is marked by humility and service, not titles.
3. Shared Worship Strengthens Community
The blending of working and worshipping points to a life that’s not compartmentalized where service flows naturally from worship. This models how we are to live our daily lives, worshipping God not just in songs but also in how we serve others.
4. Love Expressed Through Action
I am seeing what “love your neighbor as yourself” looks like in practice. In the body of Christ, we’re called to encourage one another, carry each other’s burdens, have fun, and celebrate together, not just “do ministry” but live life as family.
5. God’s Presence in Togetherness
Sometimes as Christians, we hear a direct word from the Lord but in actuality He is already speaking through what we’re observing. The unity and humility I am seeing may be His word for me, a reminder of how His Spirit brings people together in love and purpose.
Keeping Our Freedom Takes Spiritual Discipline
(Teaching Outline inspired by Ps. Sabrina’s sharing at the last night rally)
Introduction
Freedom in Christ is not automatic; it is maintained by intentional spiritual discipline. In this teaching, she explored five key truths moving from repentance to impartation, from self-limitation to transformation, and from isolation to inter-generational and inter-tribal revival.
1. Salvation Is More Than Believing
Scripture: Acts 20:21; Acts 2:38; Mark 1:14–15; James 1:22–25
Salvation is not just a belief system but a lifestyle of repentance. Repentance comes first, then belief. Information about God must become revelation through personal encounter. Revelation must then lead to application, producing transformation and ultimately impartation. Practical Application: Ask myself, “Where am I only informed, but not transformed?” Take steps to repent and apply God’s Word today.
2. Change Is Possible in Jesus Christ
Our expectations shape our identity. “You are the way you are because of what you expect to be.” In Christ, our mindset and expectations can be renewed. Practical Application: Challenge limiting beliefs. Pray for the mind of Christ to reset your expectations about yourself, your future, and God’s power.
3. Deliverance Brings Joy

Deliverance is not just freedom from bondage but an entrance into joy. When Jesus delivers us, there’s an overflow of joy not just temporary relief but a deep celebration of freedom. Practical Application: Celebrate your breakthroughs. Praise/Judah is the language of the delivered heart.
4. God’s Inter-Generational Revival
Scripture: Malachi 4:5–6
God’s last-days move is inter-generational. We must break generational curses and link the old and new. Passing the baton doesn’t mean letting go but running alongside the next generation. Ps. Sabrina’s Insight: Revival is reconciliation and partnership between generations; fathers and mothers rising to honor, affirm, guide, and empower sons and daughters, while the younger generation honors and learns from the older. This is how the curse is broken and the blessing multiplies. Practical Application: Be intentional about mentoring or being mentored. Ask, “Who am I running alongside?”
5. God’s Inter-Tribal and International Revival
God’s revival is crossing tribal, cultural, and national boundaries, moving us from “church age” to “kingdom age.” A changed life changes lives. Christianity is not “I cannot” but “I don’t want to”; our desires are transformed by His love. Practical Application: Step out of comfort zones. Build relationships across tribes, nations, and denominations.
Conclusion
Freedom in Christ requires spiritual discipline; living in repentance, renewing our minds, rejoicing in deliverance, partnering across generations, and moving from the local to the global. As we align with God’s heart, our lives become conduits of His transforming power.
